Finding the Product First, find
the product you wish to order. This is done by clicking on one of the
categories on the left side of the screen. Some categories have sub
categories. For example, the “Awards” category includes the sub categories
of “Attendance Tabs and Chevrons”, “Certificates”, “Medals and Ribbons”
and “Plaques”. If there are subcategories then clicking on a category on
the left of the screen will cause a list of its subcategories to appear in
the right part of the screen. Then click on the subcategory and a list of
products will be displayed on the right side of the screen.
Displaying More
Products There are up to 10
products displayed on each page. If there are more than 10 products in any
category or sub-category then there will be a “next page” link at the
bottom of the page. Clicking on this will display the next page of
products. If you want to go back to the previous page of a category or
subcategory, click on the “Previous Page” link at the bottom of the page
or use your browsers “Back” button.

Information About a Product Clicking on the photograph or title of any product will cause a
larger image of the product to be displayed.
Specifying Product
Options When you have found the product
you want, you must specify any options for the product. Many products have
options. For example, the same type of plaque can be ordered with
different wording for a presentation to a President, Secretary or
Treasurer. In these cases, there is a list of options next to the
description of the product. Simply highlight the option you want by
clicking on it. Sometimes the options are so numerous that a drop down
list is used. This consists of a box in which one option is displayed. At
the right hand end of the box there is a down arrow. Clicking on the down
arrow will cause all options to be displayed.
Engraving
For some products (e.g. plaques) it is
possible to specify what is to be engraved on the product. In these cases,
a text box appears to the right of the product description under the title
“Engraving”. Type the text you want engraved on the product in this text
box. You will be charged the additional cost of the engraving
later. Please allow 2 weeks for engraving.
Express
delivery All products have the
option of express delivery. To have the item delivered by courier, simply
click on the check box next to the words “express delivery” which appear
to the right of the product description. You will be charged the
additional cost of the express delivery later.
Selecting the
Product Once you have selected all
options, click on the shopping cart logo which appears to the right of the
product description. You will then be taken automatically to the shopping
cart which displays all your purchases. The shopping cart displays all
full details of all your purchases. However, the cost of express delivery
or engraving is not included. If you wish to purchase more items either
click on the “Back” button above the shopping cart to return to where you
were previously or select a new category from the menu on the left.
Removing a
Product If you decide that you no
longer wish to purchase a product, go to the shopping cart. Locate the
product in the list and then type “0" in the quantity column next to the
product description. Then click on the “Recalculate” button at the bottom
of the page. The shopping cart page will be replaced with one in which the
deleted item no longer appears.
Payment
Once you have selected all the items you wish to
purchase, then click on the “Proceed to Checkout button” located at the
bottom of the shopping cart page. If you are not on the shopping cart page
then click on the “View Cart” button located on the menu bar a cross the
top of the page and the shopping cart page will appear. You will then be
taken to the eWay eCommerce gateway site where you will enter your payment
details.
Charging to a Club
Account If you wish to charge to a club
account then specify “account” as the method of payment, “Club” as
the account number and insert the club name in the “Additional
Instructions” field. If you charge to a club account, the goods will be
delivered to the club address as specified in the MD Directory and not the
address specified as the delivery address by you.
